No. This is a tiger mackerel. You can clearly see the stripes.

I’ve heard the “true atlantic bonita” like you caught are pretty good eating but haven’t ever tried it, let us know how it tastes.

bonita is a little on the toothy side right? it is a mackerel… and the false albacore is a tuna. not so much
