i go across both bridges on the river big man’s and blacks bridge daily.there is nothing but mud and trash floating.i would try from buffalo creek and work my way down lake.i gotta head back that way thursday or friday.i’ll post what the water is looking like.
After today I’d guess it is only going to get worse. Tough year for fishing up lake. By the time it clears the fish will be coming back down.
you got that right tom.i was thinking about going this weekend.rain today and then more friday.it’s not gonna happen.i think i’ll head to the coast and get some oysters.
just got back from the coast on monday…horrible weather. i went to savannah for one of miss judy’s classes and was hoping to fish sunday…but it was just way too cold and windy…but got a couple of ideas that i want to use on the lake this spring. definetly right when they hit the bottom lake when i am usally pulling live herring a little faster than most. i typically have some trouble with them spinning a good bit but with a chin weight that should solve the problem…lol…been into the beer fridge again so i could keep rambling, but will stop for now. sharky where have you been collecting oysters, heard a report down south that all the rain has alot of grounds shut down due to runoff…
haven’t gathered any lately.i get them from a friends leased bed
sharky; how about giving me a call. i need a bushel or two. thanks

we bought some from reid grocery store about 2 months ago.they were pretty good.they order on tuesday and get them in on thursday.
i may have to give reid’s a try since i have been sitting by my phone all day waiting for sharky to call. i guess it is the old saying–“if your phone does not ring; then you know it is me” LOL LOL LOL
