fished the icw today, beautiful day on the water, warmed up nice… water temp was 54ish. trolled for about 20 minutes before catching my first one 16" keeper. threw back quite a few that were to small. 18" keeper, 17"keeper 20 inch keeper a 23 1/2 inch keeper, and to that were right at 15 inches. my grandpa and great uncle (in there boat) caught there limit of 20 all with nice size. my dad (in his boat) also caught his limit of 10 with some nice fish as well. got off the water around 2:30. all fish caught on falling and low tide. sad to see it but trolling for trout is almost ending. couple more weekends left.
That’s a good day for sure.
I have not yet learned how to fish for and “catch” trout.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Troll like for flounder. You find a nice bunch, you can stop and throw to them. Most people use grubs, some use Mirrolure type plugs, some use live bait. Work the bait a little as you go along.
btw, nice fish, 4reel.
