Team Catchall wins in the wind.
Midlands Striper Club held its monthly Lake Murray tournament out of Acapulco SC on November 19, 2016. 22 teams participated in the MSC November Tournament. A total of 38 striped bass were brought to the scales weighing a total of 259.86 pounds with a 6.84 pound average. 17 teams were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
Finishing in first place with a total weight of 15.97 pounds was Team Catchall captained by Lee Thomas from Gilbert, SC, along with Kreg Frady from Gilbert, SC, and Carl Thompson from Santee, SC.
Finishing in second place with a total weight of 15.64 pounds was Team Next Time captained by Luis Buckwell from Prosperity, SC, along with Aiden Love from Prosperity, SC; and Steve McDermott and Mason McDermott.
Finishing in third place with a total weight of 15.39 pounds was Team Hardcore captained by Rick Kellemeyer from Chapin, SC, along with James Lindler, from West Columbia, SC, Gary Heichelbeck, from Lexington, SC and Colby Borland from Chapin, SC.
Big Fish went to Team Stone Age with an 8.95-pound Striper.
Finishing in eleventh place with a total weight of 13.38 pounds was Team Know IV Shore.
Finishing in eighteenth place with a total weight of 7.66 pounds was Team Wildman.
Smallest creel went to Team Shenanigans with a total weight of 5.37 pounds.
Lady Angler Award went to Liz Sineath from Team Stone Age.
Youth Angler Award went to Aidan Love and Mason McDermott from Team Next Time.
The Palmetto State Armory Fishing Outpost prize went to Team Lucky Strikes.
