Thanks for your report! We went last Sunday caught couple limits of BSB and one good King. Just looking for another descent wind day for a trip out to the deep water!
60-70 feet, think 67 degrees in that area. love kings for grill… we got one barricuda about 12 pounds and a striped tuna (bonita) gilled both to bleed when caught. Blackened shortly at about 400-500 degrees, all loved them! so many people refuse to try the “old nasty trash” fish. and I was one of them for a long time< now i know better!!! Kings be in in May-June good fishing!
I don’t have the desire to eat a cuda. I think most people around here that refuse to eat it to so on the basis of it having some nasty parasite or something. Something about the temp of our water promotes it. Bwang will be by shortly to tell us why is not a great idea.
