Any have have one around Charleston? frontier or original? Looking to add to fleet .It appears to fit well, if easy enough for inexperienced folks to paddle easily.
Closest dealer may be Beaufort. Was looking locally first.
I have had my eye on a Frontier for a year or more. Some day soon I will get one.
Phew, thought I was the only interested one. Apparently not popular around Chas. Perhaps they’ll come to kayak/ canoe festival next spring.
Beaufort/ HHI a long drive just to test one out.
Not a fan, never have been. Paddle a few different boats before you settle on one

You know, I wonder if a traditional paddle might be easier than a yak paddle.
The NuCanoe has a lot of nice features not the least of which is that it is very stable. Seats on tracks, two seater or remove one and slide other to the middle. Swivel seats optional. Easy to mount motor. Self bailing.
With you on the paddle trial. Just looking not to drive to Beaufort/HHI .

I have to agree with Capt Dave. I paddled a few natives and WS and I loved the Malibu. I like to use live bait and the live well with the compartments is awesome. Its easy to throw the cast net as well. I added a lowrance mark 4 fishfinder/gps and the kayak has a recessed area underneath to mount the transducer. Its the best fishfinder setup I have seen on a kayak and you don’t loose anything like shooting through the hull.

Capt Dave, is Malibu doing anything about the clip in style of seat? They make a cool boat, but that seat is way behind the rest of the field. Not knocking the boat, just wondering if they are making any changes.

Malibu is working on new seat changes now
I am in love with the GTS surf to summit seat - keeps you low and out of the wind with tons of support - my but doesn’t hurt any more

I love the Surf to Summit seats as well. I just have never had one stay put and not move around, even with the best of clip ins.

I’m happy with the spider angler seat and the rod holders behind it are convenient.

Thanks for the input. There’s already a WS, Native, and Hobie outback on the dock for guests to use. Not for hardcore kayak fishing. Saw the NuCanoe and thought may work well for creek paddling by inexperienced users.
Perhaps not.
Too Busy- feel free to PM me any concerns. Appreciate the help.
The concern is it paddles like a PIG. It’s stable, but man oh man, it’s just not worth trying to move through the water.
I thought a OK Prowler Big Game was the worst paddling boat EVER… until I sat in a nucanoe
