Wow, good luck with that. What’s that chip go for retail?

200-300 dpending on 2D versus 3D, but does not have all of my fishing spots on it. I did put OBO, so the price is negotiable. I also offered fishing exchanges, so I thought that was pretty reasonable.

What a waste. You will realize that you shouldn’t have whored out your numbers for a measly $200 when someone get’s them and gives them to all of their buddies. Secrecy is the difference between our fishery and South Florida’s.

I have a buddy that fished with this guy a few times. Those numbers aren’t anything special. I’ll give you $25.

Fish-n-kid, don’t know who you are or who you know, but that is a pretty immature post. Everyone who has ever gone with me has had a great time and been put on plenty of fish. I sold my boat and will not be needing the card anymore. I thought that some young member learning the waters may want to get a little head start. I know how much time I have spent on the water learning and gathering knowledge. It would have been nice for someone to offer this to me when I started. Skinneej, your post makes sense and I hope that whoever buys them would cherish and protect them like I have. Need the cash and have no need for the card. If you want to buy them to protect them, go for it.

No need to buy something that I already have. I’ll just be protective of what I have so I will have something to hand down to my kids and grand kids one day… You can sell their inheritance for a measly $200 if you want to, but I don’t buy the “need the money” line if you can afford to offshore fish.

Also, I don’t think that the Furuno’s actually save the waypoints on the Navionics cards themselves as that would delete the map data. I think that they are saved on the unit and you need a blank SD card to transfer them off. Not sure how Gaymarine works though… All I know is that the Furuno’s warn you not to save data to the chart cards.

Forget the map and numbers. If you need to update software on some 3-5yr old northstar or furuno units, then you’ve got to use one of these old 64mb CF cards. No other size or type card will work…

Buying this one could save somebody a lot of hastle!

Bash away people. Thought it would be a good find for one of those guys that loves to fish and wants to get on some good numbers. I even offered a trade for fishing trips to show them the best spots. Not trying to cause a huge debate.

I say that card is a decent deal. It’s all about what someone is willing to pay for it. If I was new to the area and wanted to fish offshore and didn’t want to have to “pick my days” to produce good fish I would buy something like this. IT may not be for everyone but neither are photos of tailing reds at $100 each
