O fish yesterday and motor issues

Came down to do some saltwater fishing this weekend since freshwater fishing in the upstate been real muddy. Well yesterday was a knocker also. Had no luck fishing inshore for Reds or Sheepheads. Windy kicked our butt quickly. Got so aggravated so ended up just getting some oysters and heading back to the dock. Well get to the dock and go get truck and back trailer up in water and then go to crank boat up and all hell broke loose. Boat cranked up and moved off dock and all of a sudden boat motor died. Not good especially when it was windy.:roll_eyes:
So thankfully a guy that was putting his boat in came and helped me get my boat back to the dock so i was able to get my boat on the trailer. The fact that some people just sat there and watch me struggle to get it on the trailer had me pissed:rage::rage: I guess i am built different because if i am around and someone need help i have always helped someone, on the water or not. I guess some people are really cut from a different piece of cloth. I am truely thankful for the guy that helped me. I dont remember his name but he knew who i was from the Gonefishing on my boat. He said he see me in the group posting at times. Good guy…:+1::+1:
Now i have to try and get my crabtrap out the water today somehow:face_with_spiral_eyes:

Shame on them idiots. I’m a firm believer in what goes around comes around. I’m guessing you’re in Charleston? But if you’re at the North end North Myrtle Beach murrells inlet or even Georgetown. I’d be glad to run you to your Crab pots. 843-455-9090

I am fragile. Not like a flower. But like a bomb.

Sadly, there seem to be so many people that will just turn their heads to people in need. Glad you found at least one decent person to give you a hand. If the wind down there was anything like it was in the midlands, you had your work cut out for you. At least you took home some delicious oysters.

"Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It's Hand", but really, who cares?

GONE; I AGREE WITH DF AND OTC , SHAME ON THAT BUNCH OF A-HOLES NOT HELPING SOMEONE IN IMMEDIATE NEED… IT SEEMS LIKE THAT IS THE NORM NOW UNLESS IT HAPPENS TO BE ME,ME,ME. ON DAY THAT SHOE WILL BE ON THE OTHER FOOT…GLAD THAT ONE DID HAVE THE DECENCY TO HELP…CATCH EM UP AND POST SOME PICS , I ENJOY SEEING AND READING YOUR POSTS , MAYBE WE’LL MEET SOME DAY , HOPEFULLY ON THE WATER CATCHING FISH…

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

I really appreciate that Off the chain. Yeah i was at Folly Beach dock. Guys that know me know that i will help anyone, I don’t care who it is. I feel like that is the fishermen code and all fishermen should live by that just like we do in the motorcycle world. But everyone not like me though and i have to remember that…

Hey DFreedom. Hru buddy. Yeah it was a lil ugly windy day Saturday. I could not stay anchored even with 2 anchors. I rode around for a little bit and said you know what forget this…lol. Yeah the guy actually is a member in this group and recognized me. Yeah i thanked him for taking time out from his fishing day to help me. Good guy.

Most definitely Gail wins. I tried to get on them sheep but the wind started aggravating me a lil bit too much. I couldn’t concentrate on the bite and started missing them so i knew it was time to go then… But appreciate it and glad you find interest in my post.
