Nice group of folks from the Charlotte area got the experience of not only catching their first sheepshead but eati ng them also. Stayed off the common structure that gets fished a lot and did fairly well.The dad caught a nice keeper sized fish on the first drop while I was showing them how to “jig them up.” Beautiful ocean, a little head sea on the way out which slowed us down but coming home it was 35mph. Fished from 40-52 feet and used fiddlers on short carolina rigs. Very little current which was nice. Not many BSB today and no other species were caught. Fed about 10 of us at the marina this afternoon.
