most flyshops on that area stock them, the chas. angler can get them as well. Check sierratradingpost.com. I got a closeout pair of Patagonia felts for 39 bucks- retail was 140. they usually have several for sale.

If you go to Cabela’s online, Columbia came out with a new pair of PFG felt bottom boots. They are awesome!!! I think I paid $75 for them and they are great!!! The have really good ankle support and they are comfortable.

If you have wading boots, you can get felt pads from Cabelas or Bass Pro
If you plan on Oconee after the water drops below 35° don’t waste your time. Plenty of fish, but I could never get them to bite when the water was cold.

So much water, So little time

My personal suggestion is to stay away from the studded/felt sole bottom wading boots. Also don’t waste your time on boot foot waders.

Oh and one other thing. Get a pair of gravel guards to keep the pebbles out of your boots (you’ll be thankful).

One last thing. In the past they have had a lot of car break-ins. Don’t leave anything in your car you can’t absolutely part with (especially around the DH area)

Dicks Sporting goods… Hodgeman brand.

They also carry felt pads that strap on to your lug sole boots

much less than a new pair of boots iff you alraeady own a pair of lug soles.
