Loaded up with bait and headed to my spot around from Yellow House.Anchored and the Man came up and ran us off?? D&R said it was a restricted area? Anchored right around the point from YH creek.Fished that site for the last 10 years and never had a problem,Navy and Coast Guard go right past us and never stop ?? Is there a map someplace of what is off limits?? Also now for the fishing part. That spot produces a lot of flounder especially next to the markers.I heard cat fish were also in that area.Anyone fish it for big cats??
It depends on who is working that day it seems. Some days its OK some days its not. I think you’re usually ok if on the trolling motor and moving but they sometimes have a problem when you anchor

Caught 2 12 pounders there Wednesday evening using cut menhaden. Fished there all summer and haven’t had anyone tell us to move yet.

Go back Joe, make then show you, that you can’t fish there:face_with_head_bandage:!
Whats the reason for that particular area being restricted???

Not to Geek out here, but this is the Regulations from 2002, Maybe someone can map it out and post a picture. The double questions marks are Degrees, Feet, Inches. Example: 32??52??37?? = 32 degrees 52’37". Sorry, I’m not fixing all of them.

Well said DF! LMFAO! Now you know Joe! Any more questions?
I believe most of the above is no longer in effect since the CNSYD shut down. The portions refering to the CNWS are in effect and if you stop on certain parts of the cooper near the subs, you will be met with boat(s) with a big gun on the bow and some angry sailors!!

Personally I would say that if you have a fishing rod and they have a really big gun, might be wise to move.
