Hey yall, just had a question about hunting plot prep after the season is over. Found out we will be renewing the lease on our hunting grounds for next year. I’m planning on clearing out a large section in the middle of the wooded area after I scout it out a bit. Maybe planting clover or beans? Any suggestions? I’m wanting to plant things that will not only draw them in, but fatten them up and promote antler growth. I’m wanting to set up 1 or 2 more stands besides the one I’m using now. The scaffold stand has really turned out to be great for my needs. Thinking maybe 1 leaning tree stand and maybe a tripod so I can get deeper in the woods. Mainly, looking for advice on what to plant and when. Thanks for the help!
