Off Shore Charter

I have a buddy of mine that used to leave out on a charter from Shem Creek and fish all night in the gulf stream. Are there any charters that still do this? If so send me a PM for contact info and prices.

That was probably the Thunderstar. However, Mark Brown on the Teaser2 probably still does overnighters as well. His website is www.charlestonfishing.NET Notice the “.NET” and not the “.COM”…

I think he was thinking of like a head boat. Go out and bottom fish elbow to elbow with people.

No more headboats in Charleston. NOAA did them in a few years ago. You can get a rather large group together with Mark though, but it's a charter.

There is the hurricane fishing fleet (head boat) in little river north myrtle beach, and better fishing then what I remember from when I went on the thunder star or gulf stream boats out of Shem creek. No electric reels either, but night trips are limited. Caught over fifty fish and the black Sea bass are either bigger up there or bigger now then in the nineties, but vermillion snappers seem to be smaller then back then or might be up there. I went during the day ($150 full day gulf stream), but the first mate said that the difference is there are more sharks at night. Can’t remember which boat I went on but it was huge and rode excellent.

I would love to do a night trip on the teaser, if you going to try to get one together and need another to pitch in, pm me please
