Please remember that this month we will be nominating club officers for 2015. As I have stated in our meeting this is a GREAT way to get “plugged” into our club and really learn about who and what we do. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else please contact Donnie Christopher @ dchristopher@comporium.net or by phone @ 803-517-0740. We have a few key positions that will be vacant next year and need volunteers.

Could you post what positions will be vacant next year?
OK, we have a meeting to nominate candidates on Tuesday. Is there a reason why someone cannot post a list of the expected openings, BEFORE THE MEETING? How can we encourage people to get “plugged in to our club” when we cannot tell them what positions are vacant?
Sounds like a good thought to me.we won’t have to scramble around be fore the meeting to find out who is interested in running for a position that’s going to be vacated.lot of new people in the club that we don’t know much about.Gives us all a chance to mingle.

All officer positions are open for nomination every year. This includes the six at large PAC committee members. One current tournament director and the parlamentarian will not serve as officers for 2015.

We don’t need to wait until the month we nominate to encourage members to get “plugged” in. I have been bringing this up in our meetings for the last two months. As Joby stated every position is up for nominations every year. I really tried to get everyone thinking about this well prior to this month.
