Saturday was a beautiful morning for fishing, left about 4:45. RPMs wouldn’t go up in port engine. On examination, steaming water was coming from block where it shouldn’t be. Cut engine and limped back before ever getting to the jetties. At least it happened there and not 80 miles out. Went home an napped and then went for outstanding cubans at El Bohio. Then a nice ride up the wando on another boat. Ended up a very nice day. Beautiful morning for fishing.
I feel ya hope yours doesnt cost as much as mine. Spun two main bearings, broke crank, and cracked block went from 34kts to nothing pretty quick. What kind of engines do you have?
MD-It’s not my boat, but they are cats in the 270hp range, I think. I’m not sure about the model numbers. Sorry about yours.
I have been wanting to try El Bohio, but am not familiar with Cuban food. Not really scared to try new things , though.
