Took a family from PA yesterday looking for some offshore fun. Ocean was flat calm all day. Started in the 400’s in 950ft on a nicely developed weed line. Started with a couple of skipjacks and one blackfin head thanks to hungry shark. Lots of bait in the area so we stayed for a while and a big sail helped us out. Headed back in to 350 ft and had a double mahi strike. Two bulls 12 and 15 lbs. Had another sail on but not to be. 1/2 for the day. We had a Right whale hanging around 2NE on our way in, about 12ft of water. Awesome sight.
