Dropped bait in at 275ft with water temp. at 70. Trolled out from there to the 380 hole seeing steady temperatures around 70 degrees and flyers the whole time. No bites till 10:30, when we found a rip with weeds on it. Water temp was around 71-71.5. It also had birds and flyers on it thick. Caught mahi from then till the time to come home. Ended the day with 12 mahi with 6 gaffers and 6 slingers. By the time we pointed towards home we were 60nm from the tip of the rocks. Great day with friends on the calm ocean and got a first timer her first mahi.
