Offshore 4/9 Reel Interest

We left Stuart FL early Friday morning to bring Reel Interest back to CHS for the season. Trolled all the way back picking at some dolphin in FL. Thought about heading to the Cape Canaveral weather buoy which is about 112 miles offshore, but opted to continue north.

Hit GA waters early Saturday after some rough weather Friday night. No action until we hit the Deli and better water. Picked up two nice Wahoo between the Deli and the Edisto Ledge in about 250’. Had some other nice strikes.

All in all it was a fun trip, and a good chance to check out the equipment before we start running charters next week. Debbie did all the reeling and Austin were great hands and consumers of mass quantities of beer…

I was down there for the palm beach show. My brother hit the weather bouy on the way home. 15 yellowfin.
