Offshore 5/27

Got a later start than usual and had lines in at 7:45. Started in 150ft trolled SSE towards 226. Picked up 14 dolphin mostly slingers and a few gaffers. There was definitely a preference for hot pink in our spread. Water temp 75-76. We were all happy with the morning and decided to get in early and left at 12:30. Great day fishing with friends.

Had a great time on the Screw Work!! Enjoyed spending time with some good friends while killing the dolphin. My wife was happy that I was home before dark! Thanks again for a great day!

RJ, thanks for a great time on the new boat–she’s definitely quite sea worthy! Had a blast making some new friends and catching the fish! Looking forward to many more trips.

Nice Day RJ, congrats. Maybe next time I can hook up with you guys. Sounds like they were hard to keep off the hook. Hope this lasts for a few more weeks!!! Glad to see you finally on the water with that MAKO.

Screw Work, I can sure vouch that a ole Mako boat is a fish catching machine. My first offshore boat was a 251cc Mako 1985 with twin thirsty 150 smokin black boys. I have moved up after a few years of fishin in the ole mako. No comparison. However it is nice having all the necessities while being out on the water.
