headed out at 4am out of murrells inlet. Had 2 friends with me that have never been offshore before so I knew I was going to be very busy. We were met with great conditions. We picked at them until about three. The area I wanted to fish was covered with the big boys so I (Knowing the little guy shouldn’t bust in on the big guys) worked the outside of the group. Worked in 250’ - 350’ all day. 10 mahi, all decent fish. To my friends they were huge (compared to fresh water fish they have caught) It was so great to see them fight the fish. They got their a$$ handed to them. Lost about 10-12 mahi due to spitting the hook. My friend now know the importance of keeping the line tight. I was very busy re-baiting, checking bait, and clearing lines since I was the only one that had any saltwater experience. Great day on the water until the ride home. I don’t know what happened but we averaged 19mph the whole ride home. All in all a great day
