Offshore 7/8

Well the weather man lied!! We made it out to 350 feet of water a little south of straight out and the sea turn from a liveable 2-3 feet to a uncomforatble 4-6 for my little 25 grady. Fished for 1.5 hours caught a cuda and then headed for home at 0830. Made it to reds at 1200 for a friewd grouper sandwich. We saw a few sporties out there.

We tried but too rough for the mosquito fleet

Glad you made it back safe. I was out yesterday and it was real nice. 1-2 feet all day. Later Len

You should have stayed, the day got a lot better. We caught some pretty good kings today. We had a darn good ride in this evening.

You made the right call Capt. - as my Dad used to say - “To err on the side of caution is to live to fish another day”!

Same weatherman up here in Myrtle Beach I guess on the 8th.
He said 2-3, got out early by the time I got lines in the water it was more like 3 - 5, made a hasty retreat in a little boat, I was glad I was only 9 miles out. I heard it got better, but there will be other days.
