Had a great day on the water with my Father in Law. We left IOP at 5:45 and had lines in the water 5 miles short of the ledge by 7:45. The seas were awesome as we cruised out at 28 knots. We trolled over some live bottom short of the ledge and had a huge king coming flying out of the water within 5 minutes, but he bit short of the hook. We trolled about an hour longer and kept getting short bites and then decided to trolled out to the ledge. We trolled over the ledge for a few hours with little action so we decided to move back in shollow. We finished the day with 2 kings and a couple of baracuda. We had a ton of short bites, which I assume were baracuda. Although the action wasn’t great, we had an awesome day on one of the flatest seas that I have seen this year!
