Took my wife and daughters out to the ledge. Left the waphoo at 615 and had lines in by 8. The seas where perfect, the fishing wasn’t. Had a lot of short bite off’s and I assume a big wahoo, that end up spooling about 300 yards and the line snapped. Got a baracuda and a flying fish that flew right into the boat. That did even help us get anything. All in all it was a beautiful day on the water. 30-35 knots out and inn.
I can yet say that I have never had the skunk ride back to the hill with me. But a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work.

I remember a trip that the only thing we caught flew in the boat–about a 4in flyer. Tried hard too. Summer season.
