Had a charter scheduled for Saturday and we held out making a call to until Friday afternoon which worked out. There were only a few other boats fishing. Had a beam sea out and back to just shy of the Georgetown hole, and the water was not bad until about 1:30 when the wind picked up for about an hour.
Caught a wahoo early and picked at blackfin during the morning. Started trolling back toward home and found a weedline forming near SW Banks where we caught some nice mahi gaffers.
It ended up being a good day with the weather cooperating, a nice charter group and 9 Blackfin, 5 Mahi and a Wahoo in the box.
We still have some open charter dates in May, visit www.charlestonsportfishingcharters.com for info.
