I have a friend coming in from Arizona staying at Folly Beach He wants to take his elderly father and step son fishing offshore the first week in August. They need a boat that the father can get out of the sun. Probably looking at a three quarter day for some Kings, Wahoo, and maybe a sail if they have pushed in. Any suggestions? I know this is not a report but I figured the best place to get the right suggestions.
Robert Olsen, Knot at Work Charters is one of the best king catching charters in town.

Apparently Hot Shot Charters doesn’t know the CF.com rules…
I’m just saying…that’s all…
Think DNR will write them a ticket?

Ahhh, 23SF, those pics that you posted are older pics, you can clearly see “2004” in the bottom pic. Regs were DIFFERENT then. Also, the three pics you posted appear to have been taken off the old “Hot Shot”, that makes them all at least three years old…since you have nothing better to do than take pics from others websites and post them here…(for what purpose, may I ask?), maybe you should have looked at them a bit closer. You really are, ah, nev…
You might want to edit your post…I’m just sayin’

23, after a slam that bad, you may just want to hand your membership over and go quietly back to gooses creek
nice job NG
23sailfish, im not the asshole that put the pics on cf.com, you are. All i did was give the guy info for a good charter boat.

23,
It’s not the CF.com rules…Its a NMFS HMS regulation. I thought we went over that? Didn’t Netgirl show you the regs before?
Move this post over to the Florida Agrees W/ Greg1 thread and let’s go from there.
PS Did you think to maybe contact Hot Shot Charters and ask them about the pictures first?
MCPrime,
Aggressor. Capt Mike reports here all the time, but he might put you on a blue marlin. Wait, let me check their website for photo’s first…

Only one thing more cruel than taking a picture with a sailfish. That would be to continue to beat the hell out of this dead horse.

All the boats mentioned would be great.
The Office out of Georgetown has a canvas sunshade over the cockpit if the guy would like to be out of the sun an watch the baits.
Good Luck
uhh those pics are from the current Hot Shot. i think David would laugh at that ticket
Southwest winds light and variable, my @$$…
As usual you guys are over reacting. I merely put it there because I noticed them on the website and thought it was funny after the last few weeks of discussion over the subject. I was really wondering if anyone would correct him for taking pictures of billfish out of the water. No takers?
It was not my intention to offend Hot Shot charters in any way. I’ve only heard great things about the boat and captain.

tastes like chicken…no really, appreciate your concern, but I was probably tagging sails before you rigged your first bally. (no cheap shot there, just been doing it quite some time!). There should probably be more concern over the “floaters” on longlines before the bashing of the rec guys who are Attempting to release them. just my 2 cents
