Managed to leave the docks by 4:30am. Heading out looked to be a good day. Moon light was great heading south. Stopped at 500 feet Lines in by 7:30. Triple hook up within 15 minutes. We managed to loose all but one fish. Trolled around but no other action. So we headed east all they way to 1500 feet. By then the wind kicked in North east seem to be screaming 20mph. Waves chopped up the seas made it difficult to locate and stay on the rips. Came back to 500 feet where we had the triple. Then all of a sudden we saw the fish attack the bait shower on the flat line and it was on. This was John’s first dolphin experience. He almost gave up but landed a nice bull maybe 40lbs. We ended up with 6 in the boat.
Seas laid down coming in. so good seas going out bad seas fishing good seas coming back in. What a day. The ocean is always a journey.
