Fished a friend’s 32 Albemarle express for the first time today. We fished offshore of the edisto banks in some 70-72 degree water b/w 300 and 700 feet. Scatterred weeds, a few pieces of lumber, tons of fliers. We caught 4 dolphin, a wahoo, and a stud bonita. All fish were caught b/w 500-600 feet. We worked up to the 226 hole and found the fleet there with very little action. Lots of other boats out there and not much chatter on the radio. Word back at Ripley light was that some got skunked. We should keep all of our bonita from now on and sell it to the pier fisherman. They’d be all over it; I can promise you that.
