What was the temp in 1400 ft??? 75.5??? TIA.

The ENTER-NET Fisherman

We actually followed a rip heading NE from 600-1400’ that had those temps approximately on each side with the cooler temps on the inside. We were out of Hilton Head and started fishing approximately 20 mi NE of R8 tower. The immediate break was around one total degree within 1/4 mile on each side with another .25 within 2 miles of either side.

Thanks for the information. I try to correlate the “free” sea surface temp images to see if they are accurate.

It appears you were at least 5 miles East off the 100 fathom curve off the Deli/Sow Pen and the temp(if you can imagine through clouds) seems to be similar.

Nicer shot from the 25th…three days later:

Thanks again for the report.

The first shot on the 22nd shows it well. Starting at 600 heading ENE then turning NE. I arrived there at 2PM
