Headed offshore to the 300 line between 800-1200ft with Mike and crew. Seas were flat and calm. As soon as we let our baits out we were hooked up with some nice dolphin. Then a blue marlin crashed the spread and it was on. We put Mike’s son on the reel for his first blue marlin, We got the fish to the boat three times and then it surged towards the stern and broke off on the trim tab.
