I am being told the same thing about the bill by folks on both sides. Told the 50 will stay or at worst, 30.
I’ve told them all that it has to be 50 or else a large number of people who spend millions per year to be out there fishing are going to suddenly become engaged and vocal. Point seemed to be taken well.

Just remember “50” includes ANYWHERE on the ledge… This means, GT Hole, Edisto Banks, SW Banks, Royal Terrace, Deli, Winyah Scarp, etc… All of those are beyond 50 miles…

In the late 1970s we moved to Miami for 2 years, stupid move, came home. You couldn’t walk on the beach anywhere without getting tar balls between your toes.
