Offshore Reefs

Since I had almost nothing to do today, I went to the SCDNR website for the artifical reef gps locations and I plugged the GPS numbers into Google Earth and made myself a little Reef Map.

I don’t know if everyone will see the gps locations, so I did a little photoshop fun with maps.

This is a composite of the entire coast and our offshore reefs. The reef locations along the coast should be pretty close to correct if Google Earth placed them in the correct locations. The SC map is a little wonky due to my error in scaling the map when merging layers (I really didn’t care if the SC topo map was accurate as I was working on the reef map.)
