After a slow day on Thursday near the 226 we headed straightout on Friday. Picked at a few slingers and cuda near the outcrop and pushed out. Landed a nice 75lb. Wahoo in 400ft. and found a nice rip in 1200 ft. We had 8 lines go off at once, which is a problem when there are only two fisherman, Tony and me on the boat but we managed to bring in 5 including a 35# bull.
It ended up being a good day of fishing and a nice Father & Son Trip to start our season. Pictures can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/ReelInterest.
