Offshore saturday

Anybody else looking to head offshore this weekend? I’m planning on heading out early Saturday in search of blackfin or wahoo, and wouldn’t mind a buddy boat.

I hope the weather holds out. I really want to get out there.

For real. That forecast is hellacious

“mr keys”

Forecast should change for the better, boat is down waiting on parts…

SAFMC you suck!

It’s turning in our favor. I got a new-to-me catamaran a couple months ago and it loves nasty water. Hopefully its not to bad to anchor.

Maybe a nearshore trip Friday definitely a no go saturday

Don’t want to side track the tread but where do y’all find he best weather information when planning a offshore trip?

I don’t think there is a “best” site. I usually look at the Charleston National Weather Service marine forecast and Sailflow.

Try these. They are all saying stay home this weekend:

I like this site. Updates and the map is pretty accurate for wind speed forecasts…as well as direction. The forecast like the weather changes and the model seems close to predicted.
