Fished 450 line. Started out in 150ft water temp. 69 . Missed two bft w/i 15 mins of lines in. trolled the ledge for an hour with no luck. Decided to push and found 70 degree water with scattered weeds and flyers everywhere. Picked up 6 mahi for the next 2 hrs. Later in the day a huge rip/ temp. change formed. Temp. Went from 69 to 72 it even formed a little weedline by the end of the day. Only managed one more mahi off of it. It looked to good but just wasn’t holding fish for us.
Ended day with 7 mahi and missed as many. Felt good to get back out.
