Anyone goin? I got some friends that want to go jigging offshore. They’re payin for the gas thank god :sunglasses:

Not a chance. Too much wind.

jig for what?

lionfish…

haha

may try the GThole sunday if the weather do as they say! west wind at our backs on the ride out. 4’ 11sec, should be a nice swell. sat. charts say the water is warm enouph for the hoos and bfts, should be hungry

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

I hear ya bugcatcher. We will be at the GTH saturday and sunday the blackfin should be there, we shall see

What kind of boat are you fishing that 4’ at 11 seconds is a “nice swell”?

If you’re not effecting the world around you in a positive manner…you’re taking up too much space.

anyone going from the Hilton Head area? What area would you recommend trying for BFT this time of year?

NEXT WED THURS LOOK BETTER RIGHT NOW, BUT GO THIS WEEKEND LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPEN

mombakc, 4’ 11sec is a great sea, if there is no wind wave,it is a very fishable swell, which is what we look at! easily doable in a 21’if the conditions aren’t predicted to deteriorate. we were headed out on a 33’ with trips, but it looks like the weather is iffy, at the price of fuel we are going to wait till after our tuna trip to Venice,La. next week.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

What looks better next Wednesday or Thursday than this weekend?

Looks great right now. We are heading out to Comanche tomorrow for some dives with 6 crew on board.
