I am moving to Charleston area from Cape Cod where I canyon fish 100 miles offshore for swords, tuna, mahi, marlin but only june-sept.
What is the offshore bite like down here? Can I fish every month offshore or is the bite seasonal like up north. It looks like a 50-70 mile run to the edge? Any advice would be great.
PM me your number if anyone can spare a few minutes on the phone. Thanks fellas

Hey nightbite. Fishing is good all year down here. The swords and tuna is not as good as some other regions but there is always something good eating to catch.
Yup about 50-70 to the ledge but plenty of stuff closer if youre interested. Fishing never really shuts off, but the species change and the fan turns on alot. Dont know how it is up north, but dont fish a NE wind here.
