Ran offshore Sat morn 5am heading out to the ledge. Made it out to 200ft looking for 71-72 degree water for dolphin. Finally found some good water and picked up 2 dolphins. Trolled back and forth 200ft to 300ft and nothing. Had 2 fish in the boat and started heading back in for some bottom fishing. In 155 ft we found a large weedline about 5 miles long but the water temp was 69.1. Thought it to be too cool for Mahi but tried anyway. We started putting fish in the boat immediately. We trolled up and down the line and put 7 more dolphins in the boat. Left the fish bitting due to getting late and the guys wanted to drop baits to the bottom
Caught a ton of endangered BSB and a few vermillions
