I never thought I would be defending anything that wears purple/orange but, how is this party racist? It wasn’t a “black face” party, it was a gang party representing black gangs just as they look. Would people be upset if it was an MS-13 gang party (Hispanic gang? How about a biker (Hell’s Angels) party or a MOB party? How about come dressed as the Mongol Horde (which were Asians), would that be racist? IF anything, it was in poor taste but racist? I don’t think so. We have become a nation of the offended, so thin-skinned hat we get up everyday, looking for things that we find offensive. No one ever accused frat boys of being smart but, racist in this instance?
