Oil drain plug problems

I can not get my oil drain plug to tighten. When I feel inside the drain, I can feel no thread near the opening. With all the shops busy with the arrival of spring, some tips would be helpful.

  1. Is the lack of thread normal?
  2. Would you trust a rubber expandable plug?( with some super glue)
  3. Will it affect oil pressure?

I would not trust an expandable plug
the plug has effect on oil pressure.
if you bring it by I will gladly look at it with you, to see if you have an issue.
sometimes you get corrosion and it pulls the first few threads out when you loosen the drain.
