Oilless fryer

I have an oil-less fryer and am experimenting! It says that it will hold up to a 17 lb bird! So far I’ve been using the Perdue Oven Stuffer chickens, 8/9 lb! They cook up really well! My question is, have any of you used Creole Style Butter, for an injection on your turkey’s or chickens!

Yes, good stuff. I put half in a measuring cup and then add a little extra stuff. Texas pet, garlic powder, onion powder and some fine pepper. Can’t use anything that will clog the injection needle. I also like to use it on boston butts.

Yep. use it all the time when i am doing a turkey or boston butts. i am going to put one turkey in my charbroil oiless cooker and one in my Orion Cooker/smoker. the orion is a great product. can cook a 20# turkey in 2hrs20mins and it is as juicy as all get out. quit frying them several years ago as my orion does just as good and not out $30 on one time use of peanut oil.
the orion also does killer ribs. check this cooker out at Orion cooker.com

Thanks guys! Would never have thought about using that stuff on butts!

Also, brine that bird a day or 2, then inject with Tony’s. Can’t get any juicier or tasty than that. Numerous brine recipes out there, but here are the basics.
