OK help pleeeease?

Ive been fishing in the wind now for three days. I only get one week a year and so far havent done too good. Ive been fishing up the creeks between IOP marina and Dewees island and under docks. Been fishing the feeder creeks coming into the main creeks. IVe used live shrimp. DOA white shrimp. Multiple other artificials, and pinfish. Ive gotten zip. OK one lizard fish. Tomorrow Im going out to some wrecks, looks like the wind will be down a bit but will be inshore again friday. Im not looking for anyones secret spot just wonderin if Im not looking in the right areas. Any tips would be appreciated.

I caught 7 trout in one hour the other day on live shrimp incoming tide, 2 hours in, in the harbor … Had another friend hookup with 16 trout in one hour on a root beer grub … Trout are there live shrimp are everywhere … try that …

Catch some finger mullet. When you rig one on a carolina rig, cut its tail off so it bleeds a little, use a circle hook, fish the banks and under docks along the intercoastal. Move every 15 to 20 minutes until you locate some red fish. Most importantly, put the rod in a rod holder and let the fish hook itself.

Thanks for the tips, were taking off today. Caught a nice flounder the other day. Might fish off the beach a little today. Theres always next year. Ill try the mullet.
