Christmas postponed at my house, one child down with stomach bug, wife recovering from kidney stone removal procedure yesterday. All in all, we have had better Christmas’s but hey, at least we’re all together and these problems will pass. Hope everyone had a great one and that Santa was good to you.
Got an old GMC truck. 1990 with new tires, new transmission, and a strong 350. Can’t complain at all, great utility truck.

Cool indeed. The paint/body needs a lot of work, and I’m just going to do a cheap camo job on it, but I’ve had a 1990 Chevy 1500 before and always loved it. Would still have it if I hadn’t wrecked it.
Thankfully now I can go fishing without smelling up our family car. Nor fear of scratching it up with the canoe.
All I need now is a cheap ladder rack for it and I have my ultimate work/play truck. I see them on Craiglist often enough, I’ll get one when I’m ready to spend another dollar.
Today is Xmas for me. Dropped my brother at the airport. Parents set sail today and now I finally get my house back. Don’t get me wrong. It was great spending the holiday with family but a week was plenty and it’s nice to return to normalcy. I did get a new paddling vest and a boat load of D.O.A and other artificials.
