I am looking at an Okuma Avenger reel for light saltwater use. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the standard Avenger reel and the Bait Feeder version?

Not sure of the differences, but I’ve had an Avenger for about 10 yrs. and it is just beginning to show the results of my neglect… Highly reccomend.

Yes, I have gotten some good ■■■■■■■■ on them, just wanted to know the difference between the two versions and if one was better than the other or worth the extra $.
Never been much on the Okuma’s (just imo, not trying to step on toes)) but the bait feeder is basically a secondary drag system that allows you to freespool without opening the bail
I know, everyone has their preferences. I have never had one but a friend has one and likes it. I was looking at one for light tackle use. Thanks for the info.
