Slept in today with a semi-plan to hit the woods. Get in the woods after 10. Got into the swamp hot on extremely fresh hog sign that led me deeper into this lush ecosytem. Climbed up a tree around 11 a.m. and by 1:00 p.m. Ol’ Sally came down the bluff as hoped. Dropped the hammer for the start of 2019 (way better than the ball dropping). Deer season is over yet one more time…bummer!!!
