old andolinis JI

Anyone know what they are putting in the old building on Folly rd? I sure am going to miss Andolinis, I thought their pies were tasty and I liked to eat there for lunch since you can get pizza by the slice.

friend of a friend of Bonzo said no dice on the Wild Wings (kinda pissed Bonzo off, but it really wasn’t her fault), but there is another restaurant going there…she wouldn’t come off the details but I hear they will serve bread…

I will put money on Juanitas. Same ownership as Andolini’s, and they kill it over in Mt. P.

Juanita’s? Isn’t that the place with topless waitress beauties from Mexico?

Na, Luckys was not lucky at all. And neither was Nectar, Palmetto Ale House and Bretts Roadside Kitchen, which have all three been in the same building right up the street since I moved to JI 3.5 yrs ago. I guess if the food was good, they had good value and a proper marketing strategy those place could still be open. I dont think it was location because smoky oak and paisanos are both off the beaten path and seem to be doing quite well. There is not a juanitas here yet so that seems very plausable given they own Andolinis. Cant wait to try what ever it is!

Brett’s was a joke from the beginning. Lousy service, high prices and wait for it…valet parking. On JI no less. They had it wrong from the beginning.

Wasn’t there a Juanita’s in there before it became Andolini’s?

Yes, Juanita Greenbergs was at that location but closed at least 5yrs ago.

The Brett’s building was good when it was Brunson’s. At least the first few years they were open.

What ever it is going to be, they are moving right along
