Old gas/cans

Where can I properly dispose of a couple of old gas cans half full with old gas? One is metal and one is plastic…if that even matters…any help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated!

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>I was going to suggest taking the old gas to the Bees Ferry Road Landfill, where they collect old gas and oil and paint, etc… and recycle it for reuse.

chickenhawk 26’s yard might be closer. I have 50 or 60 gallons of old gas that I need to dump. To save any inconvenience, lets let ‘hawk’ tell us the best day to dump our gas in his yard.

If he… um… ‘backs out’, here is the location of the land fill:
1344 Bees Ferry Road
Charleston, SC
Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm and Saturday: 8am-3pm.

Come on over. While you are pouring it out i can shoot some flares at the aplication site!

If you can find an old steel coffee can or something similar you can burn it. I did that once in the back yard. Takes a while but gets rid of it. You can burn 1 can a day if you are in no hurry.

well thanks for the heads up
