For those of you that live in Columbia and know where it is (East Cola on Garner’s Ferry), Ollie’s has some decent fishing stuff for about half (or more) off the retail price. I have been using a couple of Shimano Voltaeus rods for a couple of years now and really like them for an inexpensive rod, especially coupled with something like an Okuma Avenger. The rods retail for around $49 but are $19 at Ollie’s. They had about 15 left as of yesterday. They also have a few Bomber lures for $2.99 - $5.99 (had some big ones) and some Berkeley soft baits.
Just thought I’d pass it along as we rarely get any deals here in Cola.
there is an Ollie’s at 7800 Rivers Ave in North Chuck down here too…former Circuit City building…never been in there but their flier looks like a bunch of junk with the occasional gem mixed in.

They have lots of good kids’ toys and books in the one on Rivers. I’ve been in there a few times. Usually there are some beater rods and reels in there. The nicer gear is usually almost full retail. I always end up going in to look for fishing stuff and walk out with something for my son instead.
