Started out Saturday morning catching monster 10-12inch menhaden at Fort Sumter around 0800. About a dozen casts and we were set for the day. Rode out on a rough windy sea to about 70ft and trolled for a king with no luck. Dropped lines on a live bottom at 100 ft and caught about 100 or so BSB’s(lots of small ones) and a few beeliners, then the AJ’s and sharks showed up. Picked up and moved spots and picked up a few more BSB’s in between even more sharks. Decided to come back towards land and dropped some lines at the Charleston 60. Right off the bat, 2 big flounder. One 24incher and one 22incher. Caught some more BSB’s and then the action started with about a 8-10ft shark. Fought him for about 10minutes until he realized he was hooked. Pulled the hook thank god and then a few cobia that were following the shark hit some of our live baits in about 10ft of water. Got one in the boat and lost one at the boat. Came back in about 1600 to a choppy windy sea with 20 14-18inch BSB’s, 2 beeliners, 2 big flounder, 1 21lb cobia, 1 porgie and 1 shark my brother wanted to keep. All in all a decent day with good company.

Very nice variety of fish! You did very well out there! You can’t ever beat fresh live bait. I’ll ride out there with you if its calm enough for me to tag along this week. I’m available to go Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Text me at 843 582 1991 if you go and want another boat out there with you.
