On the Fly

went out this evening to a productive Trout and Blue spot. Hooked into my first Red on a Calcutta Baitcaster but he was only 12" long.
I was wearing out the Blues so I thought it would be fun to break out the 6wt. and catch some hard runners. Put on a glass minnow and BAMMMMM something takes off with it HARD. It ended as quickly as it started because of oysters.

I can see how Fly Fishing is addictive. It is very exciting.

It wouldn’t be if you were in a kayak at the time? Where you? If not, I HIGHLY suggest a kayak as a platform for flyfishing for blues, seatrout and redfish…

You will never go back to stink pots again!

Those who can’t fish, spend too much on seafood!

I am wanting one. I plan on getting the Hobie Revolution this spring.

Watch those pedals, they look like they would snag a flyline , I have never used one, but I know I can snag a flyline on deck loop when casting to that huge tailing red at sunset…

F&G, I finally got to see the Revolution the other day. Our sales rep came by with a few pre-production demos. This looks like an Awesome boat! According to the rep, it is just as fast as the Adventure, just much lighter and more manuverable. We should see our new ones sometime befor Christmas. I do believe that this will be our best seller for the Mirage series this year.

Go Noles!!!

Hey DD how do you think it will work in the skinny mud flats during the colder months?
