On Vacation this week

Guys,
Took vacation and heading to North Myrtle.
Have a 15’ whaler and a 21’ searay.
Can anyone give me some L river advice?
I can catch mullet easily but have no clue where to target shrimp.
Or where to fish, Jetties, Dunns, etc.?

Thanks for your time and any input you could share so I could put my daughter and BIL on some fish.

haven’t been ina a few weeks, so take it for what its worth. Spanish should be just off the beaches, clark spoons on #1 planers with about 20’ leader at 7-8 mph should get them to bite (if you are catching bluefish, speed up!). reds should be around the jetties, blue crab chunks, or mullet on a Carolina rig should entice them to bite. Flounder are in the creeks, if the water has cleared up from the recent rains. Might be out there myself Friday. Tight Lines!

Thank you for your time and information. Had a good time but not much luck on keepers. Lots and lots of bait but I think the rains and the super tides had the water all stirred up.
Will try again around Labor Day.
Thanks!!

Caught reds and a decent flounder Saturday morning on the incoming on the backwaters of Dunn Sound. All caught on 4-6" mullet, and all the reds were well over slot with the biggest being 29". There are some nice shrimp around at low tide. Caught about a dozen that would were medium to large and one jumbo!!! Should be a good year for the shrimping down South!!!
